The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Simon Högberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walery Glapiak in the 4th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Damazy Joks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Högberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damazy Joks in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simon Högberg saved Wicher Wilchwy Come Back from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Radomil Nakonieczny kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tolek Czeberowski. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. If Walery Glapiak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simon Högberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damazy Joks in the 22nd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Hektor Fitrakis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Simon Högberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 26 minutes of play, KS Olimpia Warszawa's Damazy Joks made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simon Högberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to KS Olimpia Warszawa getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Damazy Joks hit a great ball. Simon Högberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damazy Joks, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's Radomil Nakonieczny in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KS Olimpia Warszawa's goalie prevented a goal. Tolek Czeberowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomil Nakonieczny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KS Olimpia Warszawa's Tolek Czeberowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomil Nakonieczny in the 43rd minute of play. After 44 played minutes Wicher Wilchwy Come Back got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Ekaitz. Simon Högberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damazy Joks in the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's Leszek Ankiewicz was substituted for Grigoris Georgatos. 53 minutes into the match, Radomil Nakonieczny notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of KS Olimpia Warszawa's Tolek Czeberowski. Tolek Czeberowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Izydor Roman in the 58th minute of play forced KS Olimpia Warszawa's goalkeeper Tolek Czeberowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's Horia Răzvan was substituted for Radomil Nakonieczny. In the 61st minute of the game Rolando Ekaitz made a throw-in which Jiang Fan Yun played forward. In the 62nd minute Tomasz Dziura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolek Czeberowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, KS Olimpia Warszawa's Zhu Cheng Guo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sharma Sharma in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Högberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 97 minutes Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Walery Glapiak who took care of the corner kick. The KS Olimpia Warszawa supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing KS Olimpia Warszawa would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
