Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) KS Olimpia Warszawa's Damazy Joks started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Damazy Joks cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Lew Yashin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tolek Czeberowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barry McCray in the 10th minute of play. Tolek Czeberowski came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Modlau's Barry McCray. But to his dismay, Barry McCray quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Tolek Czeberowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damazy Jucha in the 15th minute of play. If Piotr Kawa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. KS Olimpia Warszawa were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Modlau's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zhu Cheng Guo took the corner. After 20 played minutes Modlau got a freekick which was hit by Lester Subili. Zhu Cheng Guo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Lew Yashin made a huge save. KS Olimpia Warszawa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zhu Cheng Guo in the 25th minute. After taking down the ball on KS Olimpia Warszawa's corner Rafal Trzenzalski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lew Yashin quite easily take care of the ball. Tolek Czeberowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barry McCray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Modlau's goal looked a bit too open when Damazy Joks came free, but Lew Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lew Yashin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damazy Joks's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ortle Sancho in the 33rd minute of play forced KS Olimpia Warszawa's goalkeeper Tolek Czeberowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damazy Joks in the 34th minute of play forced Modlau's goalkeeper Lew Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute of the game Lester Subili made a throw-in which Alfred Wyrzykowski played forward. Lew Yashin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damazy Joks, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After some careless play in the Modlau defense, Damazy Joks kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lew Yashin. The Modlau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lew Yashin should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Damazy Joks's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lew Yashin was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Damazy Joks scored 4-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lew Yashin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. KS Olimpia Warszawa's Jack Sugar was substituted for Lachezar Tetevenski. In the 69th minute Damazy Joks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lew Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
