In the 6th minute, Zachariasz Jakisz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goalkeeper Dorel Caciulescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacek Urban. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corneliu Druga in the 25th minute of play forced Twierdza Wroclaw's goalkeeper Kajetan Turak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matei Ghionescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Kajetan Turak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Boeru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kajetan Turak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matei Ghionescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Jacek Urban had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dorel Caciulescu. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacek Urban was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 36th match minute, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corneliu Druga to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute of the match, Olaf Boruta tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dorel Caciulescu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Matei Ghionescu got free with Kajetan Turak in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vlad Buhuș's late challenge caught a Twierdza Wroclaw's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vlad Buhuș helped the player get up and apologised. Vlad Buhuș hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Corneliu Druga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Kajetan Turak made a huge save. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Dorel Caciulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olaf Boruta in the 80th minute of play. Valer Opincaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Kajetan Turak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tytus Zieba fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Twierdza Wroclaw's protests and gave Tytus Zieba a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Twierdza Wroclaw getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Tytus Zieba hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Zachariasz Jakisz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Twierdza Wroclaw fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Dorel Caciulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olaf Boruta in the 92nd minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt defense, Zachariasz Jakisz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dorel Caciulescu. The FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dorel Caciulescu should have stopped the shot.
