After having played for 15 minutes, Remus Stolniceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remus Stolniceanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laércio Damiãos short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Dorel Caciulescu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Matei Ghionescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aristide Martin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bebeto de Salles having to interfere. When Cauã Maciel fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored União Verde FC's protests and gave Cauã Maciel a yellow card for diving instead. Cauã Maciel hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Dorel Caciulescu was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Laércio Damião capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dorel Caciulescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laércio Damião went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. Dorel Caciulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laércio Damião, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the game, Laércio Damião cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Dorel Caciulescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
