The audience was convinced that Dionysis Stamatiou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valdir Pérez was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. 5 minutes in the game, Dionysis Stamatiou fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Valdir Pérez having to interfere. 7 minutes into the game, Dionysis Stamatiou recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valdir Pérez. With a little luck, União Verde FC's Valdir Pérez got control of the ball when Konstantinos Psiloglou tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Konstantinos Psiloglou kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valdir Pérez. That made the score 2-0 in the 9 minute of play. In the 13th minute, União Verde FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Konstantinos Psiloglou fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Valdir Pérez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 16th minute Amfithea Hotspur were awarded a corner. Konstantinos Psiloglou went to the cornerflag to take it. Konstantinos Psiloglou made a great header on Amfithea Hotspur's corner, it was just that União Verde FC's Valdir Pérez managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 17th minute, Amfithea Hotspur's Konstantinos Psiloglou ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valdir Pérez. Valdir Pérez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. 20 minutes into the match, Amfithea Hotspur's Dionysis Stamatiou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valdir Pérez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dionysis Stamatiou who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Valdir Pérez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 27th minute, Dionysis Stamatiou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Amfithea Hotspur fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. With a little luck, União Verde FC's Valdir Pérez got control of the ball when Dionysis Stamatiou tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Amfithea Hotspur's Dionysis Stamatiou dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. The wind increased when Fernandão Loyola made the kick off in the second half. Valdir Pérez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Argyris Miroforidis in the 51st minute of the match. Dionysis Stamatiou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdir Pérez having to interfere. After 57 played minutes União Verde FC got a freekick which was hit by Adalberto Albuquerque. Valdir Pérez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionysis Stamatiou, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Cauã Maciel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. União Verde FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amfithea Hotspur the free kick. In the 60th minute, Cauã Maciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, União Verde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dionysis Stamatiou came free, but Valdir Pérez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Marinos Valassakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dionysis Stamatiou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Valdir Pérez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christos Triantis scored 12-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdir Pérez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Christos Triantis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdir Pérez having to interfere. After 87th play minutes Dionysis Stamatiou shot 13-0, a short shot which went by Valdir Pérez and just under the crossbar into goal. Bebeto de Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Valerios Paboulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93 minutes of play, Amfithea Hotspur's Dionysis Stamatiou made it 14-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdir Pérez was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Amfithea Hotspur's Valerios Paboulis got control of the ball when Laércio Damião tried to sneak it across the goal line.
