Amfithea Hotspur's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Savas Iosifakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Konstantinos Psiloglou's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alexander Hegg firmly grabbed it by the left post. Panos Kavouroglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Hegg having to interfere. Alexander Hegg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marinos Valassakos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Joãozinho Trints shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valerios Paboulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute Agnaldo Diniz suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Argyris Miroforidis charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Argyris Miroforidis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fabiofs's Nelson Nogueira was substituted for Agnaldo Diniz. Fabiofs's Alexander Hegg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Fabiofs from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dionysis Stamatiou in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexander Hegg saved Fabiofs from getting behind. Valerios Paboulis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Regis in the 39th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Marinos Valassakos took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Alexander Hegg to make any attempt to save it. Valerios Paboulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Regis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th match minute, Amfithea Hotspur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panos Kavouroglou to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Fabiofs were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Savas Iosifakis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Fabiofs's Joãozinho Trints ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valerios Paboulis. Valerios Paboulis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. In the 57th minute of the match, Joãozinho Trints got a very nice opportunity to score, but Valerios Paboulis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Alexander Hegg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstantinos Psiloglou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valerios Paboulis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joãozinho Trints in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute Christos Triantis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Hegg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Amfithea Hotspur's Valerios Paboulis got control of the ball when Joãozinho Trints tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valerios Paboulis made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Daniel Regis sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute Konstantinos Psiloglou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Hegg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexander Hegg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christos Triantis in the 77th minute of the match. In the 84th play minute Joãozinho Trints came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Valerios Paboulis. 1-5. Argyris Miroforidis made in the 87th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Fabiofs's Ronaldinho Molski. Omiros Poulakis was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 90 minutes into the match. In the 91st match minute, Amfithea Hotspur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omiros Poulakis to maneuver through the defense. When Cristian Batista came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Fabiofs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Batista couldn't finish the play.
