Fausto Madureira hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Lyons's Joshua Arbi got a free kick in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Chago in the 9th minute of play forced Fabiofs's goalkeeper Alexander Hegg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Mario Chago made a precise shot to the right of Alexander Hegg. Fabiofs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boleslaw Zielinski in the 11th minute of play forced Fabiofs's goalkeeper Alexander Hegg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joãozinho Trints in the 13th minute of play forced Lyons's goalkeeper Luisito Quinten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Lyons's goal looked a bit too open when Joãozinho Trints came free, but Luisito Quinten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Fabiofs's zone, Boleslaw Zielinski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Hegg came out of the goal and Boleslaw Zielinski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Boleslaw Zielinski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Fabiofs's goal looked a bit too open when Boleslaw Zielinski came free, but Alexander Hegg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luisito Quinten was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Savas Iosifakis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Savas Iosifakis really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Mario Chago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Hegg having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Lyons's goalkeeper Luisito Quinten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joãozinho Trints. 37 minutes into the match, Lyons's goal looked a bit too open when Savas Iosifakis came free, but Luisito Quinten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boleslaw Zielinski struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Alexander Hegg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lyons. Alexander Hegg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boleslaw Zielinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute of the game Ricardinho Rezende made a throw-in which Daniel Regis played forward. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Savas Iosifakis made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Fabiofs's Joãozinho Trints nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luisito Quinten made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Lyons's Ruperto Salvadore slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alexander Hegg. That made the score 2-2 after 54 minutes of play. In the 59th match minute, Fabiofs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Madureira to maneuver through the defense. Boleslaw Zielinski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the game, Fabiofs's Joãozinho Trints nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luisito Quinten made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. In the 74th match minute, Lyons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Vasco to maneuver through the defense. When Lyons's Dariusz Roano in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fabiofs's goalie prevented a goal. Luisito Quinten stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Savas Iosifakis's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In the 83rd minute Lyons were awarded a corner. Marcos Berasko went to the cornerflag to take it. Dariusz Roano might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexander Hegg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dariusz Roano ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dariusz Roano got free with Alexander Hegg in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabiofs's Cristian Batista got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabiofs's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
