Christos Triantis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Christos Triantis took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Fernan Mouricio to make any attempt to save it. In the 12th minute, Amfithea Hotspur's Marinos Valassakos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in ESQUIU FC's zone, Dionysis Stamatiou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernan Mouricio came out of the goal and Dionysis Stamatiou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the match, ESQUIU FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marinos Valassakos came free, but Fernan Mouricio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christos Triantis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fernan Mouricio came out and tried to block the shot, but Christos Triantis slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 21st minute. In the 25th minute, Dionysis Stamatiou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Amfithea Hotspur fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. After a rather tough play, ESQUIU FC's Octavio Micael got a free kick in the 28th minute. ESQUIU FC's Fernan Mouricio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christos Triantis in the 30th minute of play. Amfithea Hotspur's Konstantinos Psiloglou was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 37th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Raimundo Theobald was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. A collision led to ESQUIU FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Raimundo Theobald hit a great ball. Fernan Mouricio acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 41st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Konstantinos Psiloglou. In the 42nd match minute, ESQUIU FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Eztebe to maneuver through the defense. After 43 played minutes, Amfithea Hotspur's Konstantinos Psiloglou shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fernan Mouricio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Amfithea Hotspur reached it. The supporters of Amfithea Hotspur booed when ESQUIU FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Ostots didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Amfithea Hotspur's Panos Kavouroglou ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fernan Mouricio. Fernan Mouricio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 9-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 9-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Octavio Micael stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, ESQUIU FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Micael to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Christos Triantis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernan Mouricio was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. In the 71st minute, Dionysis Stamatiou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Amfithea Hotspur fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 13-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christos Triantis in the 75th minute of play forced ESQUIU FC's goalkeeper Fernan Mouricio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernan Mouricio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionysis Stamatiou in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Marinos Valassakos made a precise shot to the right of Fernan Mouricio. ESQUIU FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 14-0. Fernan Mouricio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionysis Stamatiou, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Fernan Mouricio came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Amfithea Hotspur's Dionysis Stamatiou. But to his dismay, Dionysis Stamatiou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 15-0. Fernan Mouricio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charilaos Dimitrakis in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Dionysis Stamatiou had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernan Mouricio. ESQUIU FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dionysis Stamatiou was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 17-0. Amfithea Hotspur were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after ESQUIU FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Konstantinos Psiloglou took the corner. The corner led to Amfithea Hotspur's Argyris Miroforidis getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Amfithea Hotspur had played much better football throughout.
