Valdir Pérez stood somewhat misplaced when Giorgos Lagos came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 6 minute. After a rather tough play, União Verde FC's Fernandão Loyola got a free kick in the 13th minute. After 16 played minutes San Siro got a freekick which was hit by Babbis Tsochos. 20 minutes into the game, Giorgos Lagos lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Valdir Pérez. After a rather tough play, União Verde FC's Bebeto de Salles got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 33 played minutes San Siro got a freekick which was hit by Nikitas Brizolakos. In the 34th minute of the match Gil Paiva shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nektarios Roumeliotis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 35 minutes, Fernandão Loyola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the União Verde FC and the San Siro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fernandão Loyola kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, União Verde FC's goalkeeper Valdir Pérez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giorgos Lagos. Giorgos Lagos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Valdir Pérez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A hard shot 44 in the game by Giorgos Lagos from a close distance when the talented Valdir Pérez managed to make a qualified save. União Verde FC's players were relieved. After having played for 48 minutes, Giorgos Lagos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Siro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giorgos Lagos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernandão Loyola to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Theodosis Balidis made a precise shot to the right of Valdir Pérez. União Verde FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theodosis Balidis in the 57th minute of play forced União Verde FC's goalkeeper Valdir Pérez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. San Siro were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after União Verde FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Theodosis Balidis took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Theodosis Balidis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Valdir Pérez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 59th play minutes Giorgos Lagos shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Valdir Pérez and just under the crossbar into goal. 64 minutes into the game, Theodosis Balidis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Valdir Pérez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giorgos Lagos in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdir Pérez saved União Verde FC from getting behind. When San Siro's Giorgos Lagos in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye União Verde FC's goalie prevented a goal. Valdir Pérez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Theodosis Balidis went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. After 78th play minutes Giorgos Lagos shot 9-0, a short shot which went by Valdir Pérez and just under the crossbar into goal. Valdir Pérez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theodosis Balidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valdir Pérez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theodosis Balidis in the 82nd minute of play. Ignatios Bouzinekis hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the União Verde FC defense, Theodosis Balidis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdir Pérez. The União Verde FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdir Pérez should have stopped the shot. When Fernandão Loyola was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. After 91 played minutes União Verde FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernandão Loyola. União Verde FC's José Augusto Falcão pulled a muscle in his leg after 95 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kosmas Kassianidis during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. San Siro's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
