Pascal Finke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Zdrojowy in the 5th minute of play. Barry Mans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Sérgio Vargas made a huge save. Barry Mans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Sérgio Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Deportivo Xpertin were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Hamburg City Vampires's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Robert Zdrojowy took the corner. After a rather tough play, Hamburg City Vampires's Johannes Raubold got a free kick in the 20th minute. Barry Mans who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Sérgio Vargas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pascal Finke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rollo Lukey in the 29th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the game, José Javier Doberti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Deportivo Xpertin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hamburg City Vampires the free kick. In the 35th match minute, Club Deportivo Xpertin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Javier Doberti to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Maxim Heupel from long distance, 36 minutes into the match, got Sérgio Vargas's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Barry Mans received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sérgio Vargas came out and tried to block the shot, but Barry Mans slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 43rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Maxim Heupel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hamburg City Vampires's supporters rose to their feet, but Maxim Heupel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sérgio Vargas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, José Javier Doberti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
李森凌 struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Pascal Finke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Deportivo Xpertin. In the 57th minute, Club Deportivo Xpertin's Esequiel Dinamarca seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Esequiel Dinamarca the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Club Deportivo Xpertin protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Esequiel Dinamarca had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 57th minute, one of Club Deportivo Xpertin:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Deportivo Xpertin. Club Deportivo Xpertin:s Sérgio Vargas showed great skill when he stopped Barry Mans:s penalty. Sérgio Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Albers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th match minute, Club Deportivo Xpertin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 李森凌 to maneuver through the defense. When Robert Zdrojowy came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Club Deportivo Xpertin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Zdrojowy couldn't finish the play. After 74 played minutes Club Deportivo Xpertin got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Olof Vacker. Club Deportivo Xpertin's Sérgio Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxim Heupel in the 76th minute of play. If Duardo Pascuala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Club Deportivo Xpertin's Bektaş Ali Toper was substituted for Rollo Lukey. Pascal Finke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Zdrojowy in the 79th minute. In the 84th minute of the match, Robert Zdrojowy tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pascal Finke saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, Hamburg City Vampires's Pascal Finke got control of the ball when Bektaş Ali Toper tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pascal Finke came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportivo Xpertin's Bektaş Ali Toper. But to his dismay, Bektaş Ali Toper quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 96th match minute, Club Deportivo Xpertin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Zdrojowy to maneuver through the defense. In the 98th minute of the match Johannes Raubold shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sérgio Vargas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
