Onur-Recep Kıvrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akakios Kazantzidis in the 24th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Αστέρας Δερβενίου defense, Benedykt Lanczak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Savas Ignatiou. The Αστέρας Δερβενίου fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Savas Ignatiou should have stopped the shot. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Yağız Macit was substituted for Ediz Tanbolat. In the 68th minute, Ilias Panoulias made a precise shot to the right of Savas Ignatiou.
