Franciszek Posadzki's late challenge caught a Hamburg City Vampires's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Franciszek Posadzki helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hamburg City Vampires booed when Nitron United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franciszek Posadzki didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Hamburg City Vampires's Erling Gruteser got a free kick in the 21st minute. Jacek Solarek charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacek Solarek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jacek Solarek hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bani Ak made a kick off. Piotr Kasprzykowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Bautista, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. When Jacek Solarek was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 56 minutes had been played. In the 56th minute, Jacek Solarek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filippo Di Martino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Piotr Kasprzykowski having to interfere. Nitron United FC's Piotr Kasprzykowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Nitron United FC from getting a goal against them. Hamburg City Vampires's Filippo Di Martino got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ariel Bautista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Piotr Kasprzykowski having to make a save. If Ariel Bautista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Hamburg City Vampires getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Erling Gruteser hit a great ball. Ariel Bautista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvano Blech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bani Ak, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. If Andrea Pirlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filippo Di Martino struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Piotr Kasprzykowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hamburg City Vampires. When the final whistle sounded Hamburg City Vampires left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Nitron United FC.
