Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Takis Gonatas started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petros Kalivrousis got free with Silvano Blech in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Maciej Pankowski came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Hamburg City Vampires fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maciej Pankowski couldn't finish the play. In the 10th minute Emin Peraica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikos Tournas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Panos Telakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Simos Nestoriadis hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Nikos Tournas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egidijus Jarušas in the 18th minute of play. Ariel Bautista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikos Tournas having to interfere. Nikos Tournas came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Hamburg City Vampires's Ariel Bautista. But to his dismay, Ariel Bautista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 38th minute, Abel Keuppens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute, Owen Colbert fired a really elegant long shot, but Silvano Blech threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Ariel Bautista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Nikos Tournas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erling Gruteser hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Silvano Blech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stavros Prasinos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Owen Colbert charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Owen Colbert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Hamburg City Vampires booed when Dhafnospiliá BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Owen Colbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filippo Di Martino scored 0-2 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nikos Tournas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Silvano Blech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stavros Prasinos in the 64th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Takis Gonatas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Blech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Hamburg City Vampires getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Andrea Pirlo hit a great ball. In the 70th minute Petros Kalivrousis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Blech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamburg City Vampires's Barry Mans was substituted for Ariel Bautista. Hamburg City Vampires's Emin Peraica managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mariusz Poreda in the 77 minute of the game. Abel Keuppens kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Dhafnospiliá BC's Owen Colbert tried to score from far away in the 88th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
