In the 4th minute of the match Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ got a corner. Dhafnospiliá BC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mikayıl Malişov ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Benedykt Lanczak heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Mikayıl Malişov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute Benedykt Lanczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikos Tournas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Ahmet Hamdi Baran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Onur-Recep Kıvrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Takis Gonatas in the 17th minute of the match. Nikos Tournas came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Benedykt Lanczak. But to his dismay, Benedykt Lanczak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Dhafnospiliá BC's Stavros Prasinos got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Takis Gonatas in the 24th minute of play forced Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's goalkeeper Onur-Recep Kıvrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30thth minute of the game Benedykt Lanczak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dhafnospiliá BC's Nikos Tournas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Mikayıl Malişov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's supporters rose to their feet, but Mikayıl Malişov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nikos Tournas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 34 minutes into the match, Dhafnospiliá BC's goal looked a bit too open when Benedykt Lanczak came free, but Nikos Tournas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mikayıl Malişov during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nikos Tournas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benedykt Lanczak went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 43rd minute Benedykt Lanczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikos Tournas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Benedykt Lanczak was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 44th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Takis Gonatas was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Onur-Recep Kıvrak successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedykt Lanczak in the 59th minute of play forced Dhafnospiliá BC's goalkeeper Nikos Tournas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 minutes of play, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Benedykt Lanczak made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nikos Tournas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ made a substitution. Ahmet Harun Siraceddin replaced Radu Stegaru. Onur-Recep Kıvrak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Takis Gonatas, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Ilias Panoulias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 78th minute, Ilias Panoulias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Nikos Tournas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilias Panoulias in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Guijarro in the 85th minute of play forced Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's goalkeeper Onur-Recep Kıvrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Ilias Panoulias in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dhafnospiliá BC's goalie prevented a goal. After 95 minutes, Ilias Panoulias made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Dhafnospiliá BC's Nikos Tournas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
