Luisito Quinten made an important save on a dangerous shot by Takis Gonatas in the 18th minute. Lyons's attentive Marcos Berasko managed to snatch the ball when Mariusz Poreda made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. 23 minutes into the game, Boleslaw Zielinski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Nikos Tournas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luisito Quinten made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Petros Kalivrousis sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute Boleslaw Zielinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikos Tournas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Boleslaw Zielinski put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Nikos Tournas. In the 33rd minute, Boleslaw Zielinski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lyons fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 39th minute, Boleslaw Zielinski made a precise shot to the right of Nikos Tournas. In the 86th minute of the match, Dariusz Roano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nikos Tournas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Nikos Tournas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dariusz Roano went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. Dariusz Roano kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The supporters of Dhafnospiliá BC booed when Lyons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Berasko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lyons's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
