An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Macario in the 41st minute of play forced FORTALEZA's goalkeeper Xorxe Viguera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute Daniel Macias suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Konstanty Zembrzuski charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. If Eulalio Ubendu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Eulalio Ubendu made a precise shot to the right of Xorxe Viguera. FORTALEZA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Stoyo Kamenarski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. FORTALEZA's Xorxe Viguera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Ubendu in the 86th minute of play. Eulalio Ubendu took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xorxe Viguera. Xorxe Viguera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. If Paulino Goiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evelio Ixidor got a throw-in 93 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Fernando Resto. Eulalio Ubendu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xorxe Viguera having to interfere.
