Gualterio Paublo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Boleslaw Zielinski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. The corner led Lyons's Marcos Berasko to fire away a dangerous shot which Gualterio Paublo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gualterio Paublo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boleslaw Zielinski in the 15th minute. Boleslaw Zielinski's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The coaching staff of Forzositos de Salamanca protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Maximiliano Lavalle had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Gualterio Paublo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boleslaw Zielinski in the 33rd minute. Boleslaw Zielinski kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot Forzositos de Salamanca's keeper Gualterio Paublo was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. When Mario Chago came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Lyons fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Chago couldn't finish the play. When Forzositos de Salamanca's Edgard Macario in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lyons's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Lyons booed when Forzositos de Salamanca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Macias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Boleslaw Zielinski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lyons's supporters rose to their feet, but Boleslaw Zielinski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualterio Paublo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

51 minutes into the match, Forzositos de Salamanca's goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto Salvadore came free, but Gualterio Paublo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gualterio Paublo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boleslaw Zielinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gualterio Paublo came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Lyons's Boleslaw Zielinski. But to his dismay, Boleslaw Zielinski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Edgard Macario hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Lyons's Dariusz Roano was substituted for Boleslaw Zielinski. Lyons made a substitution. Aurelio Vasco replaced Mario Chago. In the 64th minute, Dariusz Roano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lyons fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Luisito Quinten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Macias in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Roano in the 83rd minute of play forced Forzositos de Salamanca's goalkeeper Gualterio Paublo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dariusz Roano struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Gualterio Paublo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lyons. Dariusz Roano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gualterio Paublo having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Roano in the 87th minute of play forced Forzositos de Salamanca's goalkeeper Gualterio Paublo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dariusz Roano might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gualterio Paublo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dariusz Roano ran back to his position shaking his head. Gualterio Paublo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Roano in the 95th minute of play. Forzositos de Salamanca's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
