The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Miguel Ángel Hoefler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Arquett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Jayvier might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Segio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Jayvier ran back to his position shaking his head. Fernando Segio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Jayvier in the 6th minute of play. Cuchilla FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Sebastian Jayvier scored to the left of an out of position Fernando Segio, making the score, 1-0. In the 10th minute Sebastian Jayvier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Segio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Arquett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Cresitobalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Mercado Paulista F.C's Sebastian Jayvier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Segio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fernando Arquett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Lin in the 15th minute of play. Sebastian Jayvier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Arquett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvio Lin, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the game, Mercado Paulista F.C's Sebastian Jayvier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernando Segio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Sebastian Jayvier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mercado Paulista F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Jayvier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Segio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fernando Arquett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaias Cresitobalo went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Mercado Paulista F.C's 魏皓默 quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jaime Eneko, made in the 31st minute of the game. Sebastian Jayvier scored 3-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Segio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sebastian Jayvier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernando Segio having to make a save. In the 36th minute Sebastian Jayvier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Segio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Segio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Jayvier in the 37th minute of play. After some careless play in the Cuchilla FC defense, Sebastian Jayvier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Segio. The Cuchilla FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Segio should have stopped the shot. Mercado Paulista F.C's attentive Jonathan Arixo managed to snatch the ball when Jaime Eneko made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game. Fernando Arquett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isaias Cresitobalo's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaias Cresitobalo to make the kick off. With a little luck, Mercado Paulista F.C's Fernando Arquett got control of the ball when 顾棋竞 tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when 顾棋竞 got free with Fernando Arquett in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuchilla FC's goalkeeper Fernando Segio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Sebastian Jayvier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Segio was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. 66 minutes into the match, Cuchilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Jayvier came free, but Fernando Segio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Jaime Eneko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Jayvier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Segio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. In the 77th minute, Sebastian Jayvier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mercado Paulista F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. Cuchilla FC's Ismael Thomas was substituted for Valdir Vale. The throw-in from Jaime Eneko in the 83rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Mercado Paulista F.C's 魏皓默. In the 93rd match minute, Cuchilla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Eneko to maneuver through the defense. When Michel Salgado fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cuchilla FC's protests and gave Michel Salgado a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cuchilla FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! Jonathan Arixo shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal.
