Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Theodosis Chronis in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gualterio Paublo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Ntinos Kapotas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Αστέρας Δερβενίου's supporters rose to their feet, but Ntinos Kapotas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualterio Paublo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Savas Ignatiou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Eyague, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute of the match Αστέρας Δερβενίου got a corner. Forzositos de Salamanca's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Theodosis Chronis ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Theodosis Chronis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Forzositos de Salamanca's Gualterio Paublo did a great save. Theodosis Chronis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 1-0 became the score in the 26th minute when Tytus Klejnowski elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Savas Ignatiou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Ubendu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Αστέρας Δερβενίου's Ntinos Kapotas in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Forzositos de Salamanca's goalie prevented a goal. Fernando Resto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Savas Ignatiou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th match minute, Forzositos de Salamanca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Eyague to maneuver through the defense. Gualterio Paublo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theodosis Chronis in the 45th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Αστέρας Δερβενίου's goalkeeper Savas Ignatiou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eulalio Ubendu. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Theodosis Chronis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Gualterio Paublo made a huge save. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Forzositos de Salamanca's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Theodosis Chronis was slow to take the kick. During this time Αστέρας Δερβενίου's players had a chance to rest. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Gualterio Paublo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 62 minutes, Theodosis Chronis made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Forzositos de Salamanca's Gualterio Paublo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ntinos Kapotas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Ubendu in the 77th minute of play forced Αστέρας Δερβενίου's goalkeeper Savas Ignatiou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Forzositos de Salamanca's Gualterio Paublo got control of the ball when Akakios Kazantzidis tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Αστέρας Δερβενίου's Stanislav Lobotka got a free kick in the 82nd minute. A collision led to Αστέρας Δερβενίου getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theodosis Chronis couldn't finish the play. After 96 played minutes, Αστέρας Δερβενίου's Theodosis Chronis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gualterio Paublo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Αστέρας Δερβενίου reached it. Αστέρας Δερβενίου's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
