Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Takis Gonatas took the kick off in the first half of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Cesate's goal looked a bit too open when Takis Gonatas came free, but Manolis Peridis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Cesate's goalkeeper Manolis Peridis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petros Kalivrousis. Comunardo Puja lost his temper 24 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Dhafnospiliá BC booed when Cesate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Comunardo Puja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicasio Guijarro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Attilio Mazzone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, Angelo Ferraris notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Dhafnospiliá BC's Nikos Tournas. Nikos Tournas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kay Stormlund kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute of the match, Takis Gonatas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Manolis Peridis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Manolis Peridis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petros Kalivrousis in the 35th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Cesate's Felice Frezza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nikos Tournas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Dhafnospiliá BC's goal looked a bit too open when Felice Frezza came free, but Nikos Tournas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cesate's zone, Petros Kalivrousis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manolis Peridis came out of the goal and Petros Kalivrousis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Cesate were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelo Ferraris to make the kick off. Attilio Mazzone blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nikos Tournas having to make a save. In the 53rd match minute, Dhafnospiliá BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Takis Gonatas to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Dhafnospiliá BC booed when Cesate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felice Frezza didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Ferraris got free with Nikos Tournas in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Dhafnospiliá BC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Nicasio Guijarro hit a great ball. Cesate's Angelo Vettori was substituted for Kay Stormlund. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaw Nienajadlo in the 63rd minute of play forced Dhafnospiliá BC's goalkeeper Nikos Tournas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Cesate booed when Dhafnospiliá BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariusz Poreda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manolis Peridis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petros Kalivrousis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Attilio Mazzone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Nikos Tournas made a huge save. In the 93rd match minute, Dhafnospiliá BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stavros Prasinos to maneuver through the defense. The Cesate supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cesate would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
