Ilias Panoulias started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ilias Panoulias in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nikos Tournas saved Dhafnospiliá BC from getting behind. When Ilias Panoulias came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ilias Panoulias couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ilias Panoulias sped through Dhafnospiliá BC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nikos Tournas. 12 minutes into the match, Ilias Panoulias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nikos Tournas. Dhafnospiliá BC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ilias Panoulias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Ilias Panoulias sped through Dhafnospiliá BC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nikos Tournas. 20 minutes into the match, Dhafnospiliá BC's goal looked a bit too open when Ilias Panoulias came free, but Nikos Tournas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Ilias Panoulias sped through Dhafnospiliá BC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nikos Tournas. Mikayıl Malişov's late challenge caught a Dhafnospiliá BC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mikayıl Malişov helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilias Panoulias in the 30th minute of play forced Dhafnospiliá BC's goalkeeper Nikos Tournas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Dhafnospiliá BC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Ilias Lilis hit a great ball. In the 34th minute Stavros Prasinos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Onur-Recep Kıvrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nikos Tournas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilias Panoulias in the 36th minute of the match. Ilias Panoulias scored 0-5 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nikos Tournas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 42 played minutes Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Hamdi Baran. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Onur-Recep Kıvrak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stavros Prasinos in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Takis Gonatas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Ilias Panoulias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. 58 minutes into the game, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Ilias Panoulias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nikos Tournas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Takis Gonatas in the 60th minute of play forced Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's goalkeeper Onur-Recep Kıvrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dhafnospiliá BC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! In the 68th match minute, Dhafnospiliá BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petros Kalivrousis to maneuver through the defense. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Benedykt Lanczak was substituted for Ilias Panoulias. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Yağız Macit was substituted for Ediz Tanbolat. In the 69th minute, Petros Kalivrousis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Benedykt Lanczak dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nikos Tournas, 0-8. Nikos Tournas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benedykt Lanczak went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. 83 minutes into the match, Dhafnospiliá BC's goal looked a bit too open when Benedykt Lanczak came free, but Nikos Tournas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 minutes of play, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Benedykt Lanczak made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nikos Tournas was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Dhafnospiliá BC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Ilias Lilis hit a great ball. Nikos Tournas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedykt Lanczak in the 90th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Benne Bruynincx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ played a much better game than Dhafnospiliá BC and deserved their victory. The Dhafnospiliá BC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
