Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Claudio Fioravanti got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Modlau's Ostap Geilarov got a free kick in the 5th minute. Lew Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacy Frodyma in the 5th minute of the match. Lew Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janusz Niedzwiecki in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Modlau's goal looked a bit too open when Min Eta came free, but Lew Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damazy Jucha in the 10th minute of play forced Sawino SA's goalkeeper Borys Lanczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nuno Tasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Lew Yashin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudio Fioravanti's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Borys Lanczak skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Janusz Niedzwiecki in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lew Yashin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sawino SA's Ignacy Frodyma was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lew Yashin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Barry McCray hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Lew Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waclaw Hludzenski in the 26th minute of the match. Waclaw Hludzenski might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lew Yashin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Waclaw Hludzenski ran back to his position shaking his head. Janusz Niedzwiecki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lew Yashin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Claudio Fioravanti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Borys Lanczak was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Lew Yashin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waclaw Hludzenski, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Sawino SA's goal looked a bit too open when Ortle Sancho came free, but Borys Lanczak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 played minutes Modlau got a freekick which was hit by Boleslaw Slazak. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Janusz Niedzwiecki made the kick off in the second half. Borys Lanczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Fioravanti in the 52nd minute of the match. Janusz Niedzwiecki who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Lew Yashin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 56 minutes into the match, Modlau's goal looked a bit too open when Waclaw Hludzenski came free, but Lew Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lew Yashin made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Janusz Niedzwiecki sent off a good shot on target. Lew Yashin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Min Eta got free with Lew Yashin in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sawino SA's Borys Lanczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ortle Sancho in the 74th minute of play. Lew Yashin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Janusz Niedzwiecki in the 76th minute. Lew Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Santio in the 78th minute of play.
