Fabian Arendarski made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Rigan Frankson sent off a good shot on target. Edgar Scislowicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ter Stegen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Fabian Arendarski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torrey Molloy, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beagan Colwell got free with Fabian Arendarski in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 26 minutes into the match, 1948 MKS's Beagan Colwell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabian Arendarski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Grzegorz Jankowski went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Grzegorz Jankowski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but 1948 MKS's Ter Stegen did a great save. Beagan Colwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Arendarski having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rigan Frankson made a kick off. Fabian Arendarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigan Frankson in the 50th minute of play. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Rigan Frankson sped through Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabian Arendarski. Fabian Arendarski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigan Frankson in the 60th minute of the match. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Roman Kon was substituted for Patryk Zukowski.
