Benoit Van Bettenrode who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Glenn Fyfe when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and James Batistuta made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, A4p FC Gad's Alessandro Del Piero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Glenn Fyfe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benoit Van Bettenrode in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Sebastian Larsson notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of A4p FC Gad's Glenn Fyfe. Glenn Fyfe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gică Busuioc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radowit Trzaskoma having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Flavius Cândroveanu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Radowit Trzaskoma. The goal made the score 2-4.
