Thanks to some nice moves Ömür Seyfeddin could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Iker Boruc however easily saved by the left post. 9 minutes into the match, GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Scislowicz came free, but Iker Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ömür Seyfeddin got free with Iker Boruc in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 17 minutes, Wincent Polkoski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zagłębie Dąbrowskie and the GIOVANNI DZIADZIA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wincent Polkoski to maneuver through the defense. Fabian Arendarski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sylwester Zima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgar Scislowicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iker Boruc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Edgar Scislowicz took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iker Boruc. Iker Boruc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Iker Boruc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ömür Seyfeddin in the 30th minute. After some careless play in the GIOVANNI DZIADZIA defense, Ömür Seyfeddin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iker Boruc. The GIOVANNI DZIADZIA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iker Boruc should have stopped the shot. In the 35th minute Sylwester Zima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Arendarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's goal looked a bit too open when Sylwester Zima came free, but Fabian Arendarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iker Boruc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ömür Seyfeddin went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

After some careless play in the GIOVANNI DZIADZIA defense, Edgar Scislowicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iker Boruc. The GIOVANNI DZIADZIA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iker Boruc should have stopped the shot. In the 59th minute Ömür Seyfeddin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's Iker Boruc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Scislowicz in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's Daniel Kipchirchir Carvajal got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute of the match Grzegorz Jankowski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iker Boruc skillfully saved the ball. Dawid Rywin kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Grzegorz Jankowski in the 79th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Iker Boruc's left hand side. 83 minutes into the match, GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's goal looked a bit too open when Ömür Seyfeddin came free, but Iker Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iker Boruc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karol Biskupiak, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Karol Biskupiak got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iker Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ömür Seyfeddin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, Karol Biskupiak notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's Iker Boruc. Iker Boruc was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
