The audience thought a goal was coming when Dawid Rywin got free with Lew Yashin in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Barry McCray's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iker Boruc was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. After 12 minutes, Teobald Kempski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GIOVANNI DZIADZIA and the Modlau players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute, Teobald Kempski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 13 played minutes, Modlau's Barry McCray shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iker Boruc came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Modlau reached it. 20 minutes into the match, GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's goal looked a bit too open when Barry McCray came free, but Iker Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes in the game Lester Subili did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Damazy Jucha. With a little luck, Modlau's Lew Yashin got control of the ball when Dawid Rywin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Modlau's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wojciech Kaczynski was slow to take the kick. During this time GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's players had a chance to rest. Lew Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wojciech Kaczynski in the 35th minute of play. Dawid Rywin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Lew Yashin made a huge save. Iker Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toni Kroos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damazy Jucha in the 41st minute of play forced GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's goalkeeper Iker Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Modlau getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Zula Puszynski hit a great ball. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Modlau's goalkeeper Lew Yashin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barry McCray to strike the kick off in the second half. Iker Boruc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barry McCray, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Dawid Rywin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lew Yashin having to interfere. Mateusz Mlekodaj was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 68 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the game, one of GIOVANNI DZIADZIA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Iker Boruc went to the wrong direction when Barry McCray was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Iker Boruc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damazy Jucha in the 73rd minute. The supporters of Modlau booed when GIOVANNI DZIADZIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lech Giertych didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barry McCray did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Iker Boruc 85 minutes into the match. Iker Boruc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damazy Jucha in the 90th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the game, Sylwester Zima was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Modlau the free kick. In the 94th minute, Sylwester Zima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dawid Alaba took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iker Boruc. GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Barry McCray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Iker Boruc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Zula Puszynski fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Modlau's protests and gave Zula Puszynski a yellow card for diving instead. Zula Puszynski hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Modlau had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
