Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when King Scorpio kicked off to start the match. Modlau's Lew Yashin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by King Scorpio in the 4th minute of play. In the 6thth minute of the game King Scorpio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Modlau's Lew Yashin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 7 minutes of play, A4p FC Gad's King Scorpio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lew Yashin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lew Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from King Scorpio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by King Scorpio in the 16th minute of play forced Modlau's goalkeeper Lew Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ortle Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lew Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from King Scorpio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that James Batistuta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lew Yashin was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. 31 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's goal looked a bit too open when Ortle Sancho came free, but Glenn Fyfe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, King Scorpio notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Modlau's Lew Yashin. Lew Yashin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A4p FC Gad's King Scorpio got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Modlau players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. A4p FC Gad were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barry McCray to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, King Scorpio notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Modlau's Lew Yashin. Lew Yashin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. James Batistuta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Lew Yashin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. James Batistuta in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lew Yashin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Glenn Fyfe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ortle Sancho in the 59th minute of play. A4p FC Gad made a substitution. Gică Busuioc replaced James Batistuta. James Batistuta hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Lew Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from King Scorpio in the 68th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Modlau defense, King Scorpio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lew Yashin. The Modlau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lew Yashin should have stopped the shot. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Modlau's goalkeeper Lew Yashin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lew Yashin was a little too slow when King Scorpio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 0-5. Lew Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from King Scorpio in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute of the match A4p FC Gad got a corner. Modlau's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcin Pachucki ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Marcin Pachucki almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Modlau's Lew Yashin did a great save. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Alessandro Del Piero managed to get in a good position for a shot. A4p FC Gad's supporters rose to their feet, but Alessandro Del Piero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lew Yashin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Gică Busuioc kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lew Yashin. That made the score 0-6 in the 88 minute of play. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Modlau's goalkeeper Lew Yashin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched A4p FC Gad eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
