RKS Królewscy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vsevolod Rotan in the 5th minute. RKS Królewscy's Vsevolod Rotan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ter Stegen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. RKS Królewscy were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after 1948 MKS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vsevolod Rotan took the corner. The corner ended in Vsevolod Rotan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but 1948 MKS's Ter Stegen did a great save. Emil Malik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigan Frankson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1948 MKS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Lucjan Palzewicz scored to the left of an out of position Ter Stegen, making the score, 1-0. Emil Malik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigan Frankson, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The supporters of RKS Królewscy booed when 1948 MKS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torrey Molloy didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lucjan Palzewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigan Frankson in the 27th minute of play forced RKS Królewscy's goalkeeper Emil Malik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The 1948 MKS fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when 1948 MKS's Rigan Frankson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beagan Colwell in the 35th minute of play forced RKS Królewscy's goalkeeper Emil Malik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. RKS Królewscy's Emil Malik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigan Frankson in the 39th minute of play. RKS Królewscy's Lucjan Palzewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Rigan Frankson made the kick off in the second half. Ter Stegen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucjan Palzewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emil Malik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigan Frankson, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. RKS Królewscy's Frank de Boer was substituted for Sérgio Ramos. If Lucjan Palzewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, RKS Królewscy's Lucjan Palzewicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ter Stegen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ter Stegen came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by RKS Królewscy's Lucjan Palzewicz. But to his dismay, Lucjan Palzewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. RKS Królewscy made a substitution. Bulut Başoğlu replaced Lucjan Palzewicz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bulut Başoğlu in the 90th minute of play forced 1948 MKS's goalkeeper Ter Stegen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. RKS Królewscy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
