Rainier Gregoire took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeledon Curcio. Zeledon Curcio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Gogo Chabier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mai Yao Yao having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Yala's Alberto Jaunti got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 13thth minute of the game Javier Beti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yala's Zeledon Curcio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Fracasados's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Valentine came free, but Mai Yao Yao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Zeledon Curcio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Zeledon Curcio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rainier Gregoire in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute Javier Beti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Curcio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mai Yao Yao came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Yala's Carolo Bizen. But to his dismay, Carolo Bizen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Zeledon Curcio made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Theagenis Papageorgiou sent off a good shot on target. Zeledon Curcio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radoslav Pindzhurov, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Freddy Valentine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 42 minutes into the match, Fracasados's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Valentine came free, but Mai Yao Yao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The long shot by Jolan Gabriel in the 46th minute really tested Zeledon Curcio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Gogo Chabier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yala's supporters rose to their feet, but Gogo Chabier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mai Yao Yao breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. But to his dismay, Javier Beti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 68 minutes into the game, Yala's Gogo Chabier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mai Yao Yao made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Theagenis Papageorgiou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Curcio having to interfere. With a little luck, Fracasados's Mai Yao Yao got control of the ball when Gogo Chabier tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute, Javier Beti made a precise shot to the right of Zeledon Curcio. Yala's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Gogo Chabier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mai Yao Yao read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Yala's Zeledon Curcio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rainier Gregoire in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Lapurdi in the 93rd minute of play forced Yala's goalkeeper Zeledon Curcio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
