After 18 played minutes Defensores del Ángel Gris got a freekick which was hit by Andres Reynardo. After 19 played minutes, Consejo del Mate's Cayetano Sagrario shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nicolás DAndrea came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Consejo del Mate reached it. 21 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Estebano came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Consejo del Mate made a substitution. Javier Betadur replaced Cayetano Sagrario. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bolo Bolaño was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Bolo Bolaño put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Nicolás DAndrea. Consejo del Mate's Peyo Fonelleda was substituted for Bolo Bolaño. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peyo Fonelleda in the 74th minute of play forced Defensores del Ángel Gris's goalkeeper Nicolás DAndrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 minutes, Andres Reynardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Defensores del Ángel Gris and the Consejo del Mate players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Defensores del Ángel Gris fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicolás DAndrea should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fagildo Pamanes in the 84th minute of play forced Defensores del Ángel Gris's goalkeeper Nicolás DAndrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Fagildo Pamanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
