The audience was convinced that Sven-Edvin Dalgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mai Yao Yao was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. 37 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Rainier Gregoire came free, but Francisco Raymond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mai Yao Yao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Dalgren in the 41st minute of play. Fracasados's Mai Yao Yao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Edvin Dalgren in the 42nd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Theagenis Papageorgiou to strike the kick off in the second half. Ciro Tab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Raymond having to interfere. The supporters of Racing Club booed when Fracasados was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Tab didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Francisco Raymond managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Fracasados's Theagenis Papageorgiou fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The corner led Racing Club's Marco Nisio to fire away a dangerous shot which Mai Yao Yao despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mai Yao Yao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Dalgren in the 67th minute of play. Jolan Gabriel hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Mai Yao Yao didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven-Edvin Dalgren went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 87 played minutes Fracasados got a freekick which was hit by Roman Urre. Mai Yao Yao came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Racing Club's Sven-Edvin Dalgren. But to his dismay, Sven-Edvin Dalgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Francisco Raymond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theagenis Papageorgiou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Racing Club had won after a very even match.
