Eneas Diez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Flor in the 2nd minute of play. Sven-Edvin Dalgren was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 9th minute. Racing Club's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Antonio Ubarna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Ubarna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eneas Diez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Sven-Edvin Dalgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eneas Diez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Edvin Dalgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the game, Felix Asier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Francisco Raymond was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cipriano Aresti kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Antonio Ubarna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Eneas Diez made a huge save. In the 31st minute Placido Jenaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Raymond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eneas Diez made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Antonio Ubarna sent off a good shot on target. Racing Club's Francisco Raymond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Chwalkiewicz in the 34th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Sven-Edvin Dalgren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eneas Diez. Sven-Edvin Dalgren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Francisco Dolfo got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After 45 minutes of play, De Boedo Vengo's Norbert Chwalkiewicz made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Raymond was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Racing Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. De Boedo Vengo were winning 1-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven-Edvin Dalgren was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute, Abelardo Felipo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 51st minute, Sven-Edvin Dalgren made a precise shot to the right of Eneas Diez. De Boedo Vengo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. When Racing Club's Sven-Edvin Dalgren in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye De Boedo Vengo's goalie prevented a goal. In the 56th minute of the match, Paul Gheară tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Francisco Raymond saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sven-Edvin Dalgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eneas Diez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Edvin Dalgren ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Ubarna in the 60th minute of play forced De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper Eneas Diez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Antonio Ubarna notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of De Boedo Vengo's Eneas Diez. Eneas Diez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 63 minutes into the match, Norbert Chwalkiewicz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Francisco Raymond, 3-3. In the 68th minute Antonio Ubarna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eneas Diez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eneas Diez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Edvin Dalgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Sven-Edvin Dalgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eneas Diez. De Boedo Vengo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven-Edvin Dalgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Eneas Diez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Edvin Dalgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Edvin Dalgren took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eneas Diez. Eneas Diez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-3. Eneas Diez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Indalecio in the 87th minute of the match. Eneas Diez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Indalecio in the 90th minute of play. Sven-Edvin Dalgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Racing Club had won after a very even match.
