Yala's Zeledon Curcio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Perico in the 21st minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Feliberto Ipar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gogo Chabier. 26 minutes into the match, Yala's goal looked a bit too open when Zeca Fernandez came free, but Zeledon Curcio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Prospero Perico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Curcio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee ignored Lobos de Carelia's protests and gave Lucas Jimenez a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Lobos de Carelia getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriel Efraim was the one to do the kick off. Zeledon Curcio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Efraim, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. 55 minutes into the match, Zeca Fernandez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zeledon Curcio, 0-3. Yala's Zeledon Curcio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Yala from getting a goal against them. Zeledon Curcio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Gombal in the 64th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Adolfo Gombal sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Yala's Zeledon Curcio didn't even have to move. In the 93rd minute, Zeca Fernandez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lobos de Carelia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Lobos de Carelia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
