Zeledon Curcio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Miliano in the 17th minute of play. The Defensores del Ángel Gris fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicolás DAndrea should have stopped the shot. When Igor Hats came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Yala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Hats couldn't finish the play. The Defensores del Ángel Gris players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Yala were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herminio Miliano made a kick off. Zeledon Curcio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Miliano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Herminio Miliano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zeledon Curcio was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. A collision led to Defensores del Ángel Gris getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Clemente Gorbea hit a great ball. The long shot by Agustin Pello in the 71st minute really tested Nicolás DAndrea's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 78th minute Marcial Lore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolás DAndrea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Hats kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Arnulfo Bastiaro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicolás DAndrea having to make a save. Defensores del Ángel Gris's Nicolás DAndrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Bastiaro in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute of the match, Igor Hats got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nicolás DAndrea was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Freddy Claude got a throw-in 88 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Igor Hats. Nicolás DAndrea came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Yala's Igor Hats. But to his dismay, Igor Hats quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Zeledon Curcio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herminio Miliano, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
