If Şevket Çağa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şevket Çağa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atahan Balon having to interfere. Atahan Balon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Berdoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 30 minutes, Şevket Çağa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şevket Çağa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pankracy Glogowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo-Enrique Bochini, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Şevket Çağa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Atahan Balon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Los Muchachos del 86's Atahan Balon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şevket Çağa in the 44th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saverio Brion to strike the kick off in the second half. Club Atlético Atlanta were furious when Ciro Ferdinand was red carded, 58 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee gave Los Muchachos del 86 a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Saverio Brion, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski. 2-2. Remigio Erramu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atahan Balon having to interfere. Hermengildo Erroman kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Damian Honesto spun around in front of the goal 90 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Club Atlético Atlanta's goal. In the 92nd minute of the match Emil Chwalkiewicz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Atahan Balon skillfully saved the ball. Los Muchachos del 86's Albino Peruanton suffered a concussion after 94 minutes and had to leave the field. When Lázaro Cuartio fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Atlanta's protests and gave Lázaro Cuartio a yellow card for diving instead. 97 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Asiz Soon. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
