In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind NECKER49's goalkeeper Maximino Hitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. ATLETICO MENDOZA's Václav Filipi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Vallman in the 32nd minute of play. Václav Filipi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Ortle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oriano Junco in the 37th minute of play forced ATLETICO MENDOZA's goalkeeper Václav Filipi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Václav Filipi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Ortle in the 39th minute of play. After 41 played minutes NECKER49 got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Hegoi. ATLETICO MENDOZA were furious when Prudencio Bidun was red carded, 43 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of NECKER49 booed when ATLETICO MENDOZA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudencio Bidun didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 played minutes, NECKER49's Basilio Hegoi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Václav Filipi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in NECKER49 reached it. In the 47th minute Ladislao Cresitobalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Hitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The wind increased when Jose Chale made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, NECKER49's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Ruy came free, but Maximino Hitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Ortle's late challenge caught a ATLETICO MENDOZA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victor Ortle helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st minute, Victor Ortle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the match, NECKER49's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Ruy came free, but Maximino Hitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, ATLETICO MENDOZA's goalkeeper Václav Filipi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Jakobe. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sten Vallman in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Václav Filipi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A beautiful save bye ATLETICO MENDOZA's goalie prevented a goal. 73 minutes into the match, ATLETICO MENDOZA's goalkeeper Václav Filipi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damian Bernabel. After 77 minutes of play, ATLETICO MENDOZA's Ladislao Cresitobalo made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximino Hitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! NECKER49 made a substitution. Valentin Policarpio replaced Victor Ortle. In the 84th minute, Ladislao Cresitobalo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximino Hitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Policarpio in the 86th minute of play forced ATLETICO MENDOZA's goalkeeper Václav Filipi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ATLETICO MENDOZA's Václav Filipi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save ATLETICO MENDOZA from getting a goal against them.
