With an extended leg and a bit of luck Froilan Dolcet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 11 minutes into the match, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goalkeeper Edinho Pirani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Túlio Geniatulin. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Luiz Fabiano Orange got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yan Falcão hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Katarínus Orange received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Froilan Dolcet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dênis Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th match minute, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Orange to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Katarínus Orange's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Froilan Dolcet was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Vitório Campidelis ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 39thth minute of the game Katarínus Orange who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ibirama Futebol Clube's Froilan Dolcet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Rubens Cerezo fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's protests and gave Rubens Cerezo a yellow card for diving instead. Natã Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute of the match Luiz Fabiano Orange sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Froilan Dolcet skillfully saved the ball. After the first half Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Katarínus Orange to make the kick off. Froilan Dolcet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Katarínus Orange's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Rubens Cerezo kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. With his leg Froilan Dolcet managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Katarínus Orange fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. It was a well-played corner which Rubens Cerezo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Edinho Pirani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Túlio Geniatulin, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Vitório Campidelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Dolcet having to interfere. In the 73rdth minute of the game Katarínus Orange who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ibirama Futebol Clube's Froilan Dolcet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Túlio Geniatulin came free, but Edinho Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ibirama Futebol Clube were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dênis Coutinho took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goalie and right to Adhemar Guedes. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Ibirama Futebol Clube's Froilan Dolcet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Ibirama Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Adhemar Guedes hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Luiz Fabiano Orange from long distance, 85 minutes into the match, got Froilan Dolcet's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Katarínus Orange could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Froilan Dolcet made a huge save.
