The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 14 minutes into the game, Atlético da Colina's Diguinho Souza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. When Castanheiro SC's Jeferson Mandrak in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlético da Colina's goalie prevented a goal. Célio Pena made in the 23rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Atlético da Colina's João Fantini. Fernandão Penha came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético da Colina's Diguinho Souza. But to his dismay, Diguinho Souza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Mateus Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Trancoso in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Castanheiro SC's goal looked a bit too open when Diguinho Souza came free, but Fernandão Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernandão Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diguinho Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Atlético da Colina's Diguinho Souza got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Castanheiro SC's goalkeeper Fernandão Penha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 52 minutes of play, Castanheiro SC's Cristian Salles made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateus Linhares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mateus Linhares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute of the match Castanheiro SC got a corner. Atlético da Colina's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jeferson Mandrak ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Castanheiro SC's Kauan Rezende to fire away a dangerous shot which Mateus Linhares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 70 minutes, Kauan Rezende made it 3-3 with a short kick to the right side. Atlético da Colina's Mateus Linhares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Castanheiro SC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Kauan Rezende hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Diguinho Souza took a quick shot and it went in 3-4 without a chance for Fernandão Penha to make any attempt to save it. Mateus Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauan Rezende in the 79th minute of play. Cristian Salles took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateus Linhares. Mateus Linhares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-4. Atlético da Colina's Mateus Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauan Rezende in the 91st minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Ronaldão Trevisan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético da Colina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Castanheiro SC the free kick. In the 91st minute, Ronaldão Trevisan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes into the match, Atlético da Colina's goal looked a bit too open when Jeferson Mandrak came free, but Mateus Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
