Roger Luz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Compostela FSCMZ. Raí Peres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raí Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Luz having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Virgílio Miranda was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Osmar Marinho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 54 minute of play. Ernani Cavalcante kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Compostela FSCMZ made a substitution. Cesinha Paraense replaced Cléberson do Valle. In the 64th minute, Raí Peres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roger Luz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Compostela FSCMZ's Evandro Bastos was substituted for Leonardo Teixeira. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raí Peres in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger Luz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zé Roberto Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Roger Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raí Peres in the 86th minute of play. Roger Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raí Peres in the 88th minute of the match. Valdo Gonçalves hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Márcio Carneiro could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Virgílio Miranda however easily saved by the left post.
