The goal made the score 1-0. After 8 played minutes Ibirama Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Adrianinho Cunha. After 9 played minutes, Aesir FC FSCMZ's Márcio Carneiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Froilan Dolcet came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Aesir FC FSCMZ reached it. A collision led to Aesir FC FSCMZ getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ernani Cavalcante hit a great ball. Márcio Carneiro in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Froilan Dolcet, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ernani Cavalcante charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernani Cavalcante the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ernani Cavalcante hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Márcio Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Dolcet having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Aesir FC FSCMZ's Márcio Carneiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Froilan Dolcet. Froilan Dolcet yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Túlio Geniatulin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Luz having to interfere. Roger Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Túlio Geniatulin, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Dênis Coutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roger Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dênis Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aesir FC FSCMZ's Roger Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dênis Coutinho in the 42nd minute of play. Dênis Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Márcio Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Márcio Carneiro to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Túlio Geniatulin got free with Roger Luz in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dênis Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Luz having to interfere. Túlio Geniatulin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Roger Luz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice moves Túlio Geniatulin could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Roger Luz however easily saved by the left post. Roger Luz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Túlio Geniatulin in the 66th minute. Túlio Geniatulin made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 67thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Roger Luz would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 69th minute of the match Ibirama Futebol Clube got a corner. Aesir FC FSCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dênis Coutinho ran over to the corner to take the kick. Túlio Geniatulin didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-1 via right post in the game's 70th minute. Ibirama Futebol Clube's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 72nd match minute, Ibirama Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dênis Coutinho to maneuver through the defense. Aesir FC FSCMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Túlio Geniatulin scored to the left of an out of position Roger Luz, making the score, 2-2. After 76 played minutes Ibirama Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Diego Quadros. Aesir FC FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Márcio Carneiro in the 78th minute. Osmar Marinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Froilan Dolcet having to make a save. In the 83rd minute, Ernani Cavalcante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Túlio Geniatulin in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger Luz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 90thth minute of the game Túlio Geniatulin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aesir FC FSCMZ's Roger Luz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 91 played minutes Aesir FC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Ernani Cavalcante. 93 minutes into the match, Dênis Coutinho notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Aesir FC FSCMZ's Roger Luz. Roger Luz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 96th minute, Márcio Carneiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aesir FC FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
