The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Saxon's Jan Nowacki got a free kick in the 15th minute. Jan Nowacki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvester Spörer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Radowit Bycofski managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Saxon's supporters rose to their feet, but Radowit Bycofski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvester Spörer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lee Staratschek hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The long shot by Wincenty Bierfass in the 21st minute really tested Silvester Spörer's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Romeo Gretter hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Solustiano Partarroyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lee Staratschek, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. GTV Ostsee's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Radowit Bycofski scored to the left of an out of position Silvester Spörer, making the score, 1-1. 33 minutes into the match, GTV Ostsee's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Nowacki came free, but Silvester Spörer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radowit Bycofski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Silvester Spörer made a huge save. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Saxon's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leif Kittner was slow to take the kick. During this time GTV Ostsee's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Leif Kittner almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Saxon's Solustiano Partarroyo did a great save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Silvester Spörer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Radowit Bycofski's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Radowit Bycofski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvester Spörer having to make a save. A collision led to GTV Ostsee getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Leif Kittner hit a great ball. Silvester Spörer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radowit Bycofski in the 71st minute of the match. Michael Reese charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michael Reese the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, FC Saxon's Solustiano Partarroyo got control of the ball when Michael Reese tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, GTV Ostsee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Kliesch to maneuver through the defense. Silvester Spörer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Pyczkowski in the 83rd minute of the match. When Leif Kittner fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GTV Ostsee's protests and gave Leif Kittner a yellow card for diving instead. Artur Krick kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match.
