Silvester Spörer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tanio Lezaeta in the 9th minute of play. Silvester Spörer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rómulo Ventura in the 12th minute of the match. Talcampeón FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alonso Pascal in the 15th minute. Apolo Larrañaga didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 17th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Michael Reese could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Apolo Larrañaga made a huge save. 22 minutes into the match, Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Apolo Larrañaga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michael Kliesch. A well placed Lee Staratschek short distance shot in the 23rd minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. In the 27th minute, Bradley Blohm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute of the match Alonso Pascal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvester Spörer skillfully saved the ball. In the 30th minute Tanio Lezaeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvester Spörer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, GTV Ostsee's goal looked a bit too open when Rainerio Huidobro came free, but Silvester Spörer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Michael Kliesch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GTV Ostsee were furious when Bradley Blohm was red carded, 37 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for GTV Ostsee! Karl Martin Bach kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lee Staratschek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lee Staratschek in the 51st minute of play forced Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Apolo Larrañaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tanio Lezaeta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvester Spörer having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, GTV Ostsee's goal looked a bit too open when Tanio Lezaeta came free, but Silvester Spörer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Tanio Lezaeta took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Silvester Spörer to make any attempt to save it. In the 71st minute, Tanio Lezaeta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Silvester Spörer. The goal made the score 2-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Andrés Villaseñor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talcampeón FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrés Villaseñor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvester Spörer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rainerio Huidobro struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Silvester Spörer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talcampeón FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artur Krick during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th minute, Artur Krick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Talcampeón FC's Rainerio Huidobro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Silvester Spörer. That made the score 2-4 after 82 minutes of play. Apolo Larrañaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lee Staratschek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Talcampeón FC's Apolo Larrañaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lee Staratschek in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanio Lezaeta in the 92nd minute of play forced GTV Ostsee's goalkeeper Silvester Spörer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lee Staratschek in the 95th minute of play forced Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Apolo Larrañaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Talcampeón FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
