The Galo do Japi fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Galo do Japi's Chico Valadares looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 9th minute Chico Valadares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorio Oso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chico Valadares might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Honorio Oso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chico Valadares ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 13th minute Chico Valadares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorio Oso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Galo do Japi's Laerte Moraes managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fernan Ellande in the 14 minute of the game. In the 17th minute of the game Fernan Ellande made a throw-in which Natalio Reno played forward. A collision led to Apocalípticos & Caóticos getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Eugenio Feliu hit a great ball. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Honorio Oso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Falcão Duarte in the 27th minute of play. Fernan Ellande made in the 29th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Galo do Japi's Laerte Moraes. Delfim Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Favila, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Honorio Oso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chico Valadares went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 37th minute, Fernan Ellande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th match minute, Apocalípticos & Caóticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Reno to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute Silvestre Favila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Silvestre Favila in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Galo do Japi's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Silvestre Favila put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Delfim Chaves. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilfredo Cefero to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chico Valadares in the 53rd minute of play forced Apocalípticos & Caóticos's goalkeeper Honorio Oso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honorio Oso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Falcão Duarte went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Fernan Ellande hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute of the match, Arsenio Francesco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Delfim Chaves was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dagoberto Tande hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Reno in the 68th minute of play forced Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Delfim Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Galo do Japi's Chico Valadares got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Galo do Japi's attentive Dagoberto Tande managed to snatch the ball when Fernan Ellande made a throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game. Honorio Oso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chico Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Honorio Oso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico Valadares in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th match minute, Galo do Japi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Cefero to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Apocalípticos & Caóticos booed when Galo do Japi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gernando Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Galo do Japi's Wilfredo Cefero got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Wilfredo Cefero off the ground. Wilfredo Cefero kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Honorio Oso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Falcão Duarte in the 84th minute of play. The throw-in from Fernan Ellande in the 86th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Galo do Japi's Laerte Moraes. In the 92nd minute, Fernan Ellande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Honorio Oso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chico Valadares in the 93rd minute of play. Galo do Japi's Chico Valadares got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Galo do Japi were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Apocalípticos & Caóticos for a fine match.
