Rainerio Huidobro started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Bektaş Ali Toper left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Deportivo Xpertin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Bektaş Ali Toper hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rainerio Huidobro in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Savier Arco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. José Francisco Maffey kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanio Lezaeta in the 21st minute of play forced Club Deportivo Xpertin's goalkeeper Savier Arco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Vidal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Apolo Larrañaga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Club Deportivo Xpertin's Savier Arco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rómulo Ventura in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanio Lezaeta in the 35th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Xpertin's goalkeeper Savier Arco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Savier Arco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrés Villaseñor in the 37th minute. Arturo Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Deportivo Xpertin's goalkeeper Savier Arco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bektaş Ali Toper was the one to do the kick off. Apolo Larrañaga was a little too slow when Bektaş Ali Toper got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-3. Tanio Lezaeta kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 65th minute Talcampeón FC were awarded a corner. Alonso Pascal went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Talcampeón FC's corner Alonso Pascal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Savier Arco quite easily take care of the ball. In the 66th minute Eladio Sarmiento suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. A collision led to Club Deportivo Xpertin getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Peio Santibañez hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrés Villaseñor in the 69th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Xpertin's goalkeeper Savier Arco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 played minutes Club Deportivo Xpertin got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Kaiafas. Savier Arco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrés Villaseñor in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute Tanio Lezaeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Savier Arco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Talcampeón FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Arturo Vidal scored to the left of an out of position Apolo Larrañaga, making the score, 0-4. Savier Arco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrés Villaseñor in the 82nd minute of play. When Tanio Lezaeta came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Talcampeón FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tanio Lezaeta couldn't finish the play. Savier Arco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rainerio Huidobro went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. Jose Maria Letelier charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Maria Letelier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 95 minutes in the game Jan-Olof Vacker got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Club Deportivo Xpertin eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
