An unexpectedly hard shot by Barnaba Jaraczeski in the 6th minute of play forced Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Kléber Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chelmza Team's Stasio Kalinowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Chelmza Team from getting a goal against them. A nice corner shot did that Antoni Pawlik got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kléber Koehler quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Chelmza Team's Stasio Kalinowski got control of the ball when Durval Mazza tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugênio Dantas in the 22nd minute of play forced Chelmza Team's goalkeeper Stasio Kalinowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Eugênio Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galo do Japi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugênio Dantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stasio Kalinowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugênio Dantas in the 28th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Chelmza Team got a freekick which was hit by Antoni Pawlik. Antoni Pawlik hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Antoni Pawlik made a precise shot to the right of Kléber Koehler. Galo do Japi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Galo do Japi's zone, Antoni Pawlik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kléber Koehler came out of the goal and Antoni Pawlik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the game, Denílson Urbano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galo do Japi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chelmza Team the free kick. Denílson Urbano hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Kiko Novaes scored 1-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stasio Kalinowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Galo do Japi's Kléber Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoni Pawlik in the 45th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Antoni Pawlik made the kick off in the second half. Antoni Pawlik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kléber Koehler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 59th minute Durval Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stasio Kalinowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kiko Novaes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chelmza Team's Stasio Kalinowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kiko Novaes in the 62nd minute of play. Kléber Koehler was a little too slow when Antoni Pawlik got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 85th minute, Antoni Pawlik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stasio Kalinowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugênio Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Galo do Japi manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Chelmza Team to win.
