Pastor Favila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gene Simons in the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Apocalípticos & Caóticos's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Stanley came free, but Pastor Favila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robinho Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Guib in the 18th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Marco Eger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pastor Favila was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The Galo do Japi fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Galo do Japi's Paul Stanley looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jailson Leão hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 40th match minute, Apocalípticos & Caóticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Vidal to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Apocalípticos & Caóticos's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Eger came free, but Pastor Favila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Apocalípticos & Caóticos made a substitution. Alejandro Ciano replaced David Guib. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gene Simons to strike the kick off in the second half. Pastor Favila stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gene Simons's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. After 56 minutes of play Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Flavio Fertus was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Galo do Japi booed when Apocalípticos & Caóticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Fertus didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Apocalípticos & Caóticos getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Alejandro Ciano hit a great ball. Paul Stanley who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Pastor Favila when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 64th minute Marco Eger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Favila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Alejandro Ciano made a precise shot to the right of Robinho Cerezo. Galo do Japi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Carlos Fernando Veloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gene Simons was extremely unlucky when he, in the 71st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gene Simons in the 73rd minute of play forced Apocalípticos & Caóticos's goalkeeper Pastor Favila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Pastor Favila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Eger in the 77th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Albano Rudolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Carlos Fernando Veloso scored to the left of an out of position Pastor Favila, making the score, 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gene Simons in the 96th minute of play forced Apocalípticos & Caóticos's goalkeeper Pastor Favila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Galo do Japi eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
