Lara Guadalupi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaroslav Nechvátal, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Octavio Carballo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Chipa y Tereré's Bernardo Cabral made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lara Guadalupi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Valério Ortiz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xie Chao Cheng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramon Lizano got free with Xie Chao Cheng in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Club A. Chipa y Tereré booed when MAGNIFICOS.FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mané Gerber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Bernardo Cabral was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lara Guadalupi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 44 minutes MAGNIFICOS.FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bernardo Cabral who took care of the corner kick. Jaroslav Nechvátal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lara Guadalupi having to make a save. Lara Guadalupi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaroslav Nechvátal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valério Ortiz was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute of the match, Jaroslav Nechvátal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lara Guadalupi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Club A. Chipa y Tereré getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Wen Si Yi hit a great ball. After 59 played minutes Club A. Chipa y Tereré got a freekick which was hit by Wen Si Yi. The audience was convinced that Jaroslav Nechvátal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lara Guadalupi was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Octavio Carballo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Xie Chao Cheng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Jeremias Macedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xie Chao Cheng. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeremias Macedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Club A. Chipa y Tereré made a substitution. Carmelo Velasco replaced Israel Igon. Jaroslav Nechvátal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club A. Chipa y Tereré were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after MAGNIFICOS.FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bernardo Cabral took the corner. Jeremias Macedo took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xie Chao Cheng. Xie Chao Cheng dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After having played for 95 minutes, Jeremias Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MAGNIFICOS.FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Macedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
