Bruno Capello ran back to his position shaking his head. Teun Verbraecken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Capello in the 10th minute of the match. Oséas Brodel kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Barra Funda F.C's Agustín Rossi threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edmílson Mineiro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bruno Capello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 28th minute, Bruno Capello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teun Verbraecken was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Bruno Capello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teun Verbraecken read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. If Edmílson Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Capello in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teun Verbraecken saved Barra Funda F.C from getting behind. After 44 minutes of play, Los Trip's Bruno Capello made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teun Verbraecken was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Edmílson Mineiro made the kick off in the second half. Agustín Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmílson Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 53 minutes of play, Barra Funda F.C's Edmílson Mineiro made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Agustín Rossi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Capello in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teun Verbraecken prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 63 minutes into the match, Barra Funda F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Capello came free, but Teun Verbraecken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Capello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 64th minute Bruno Capello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teun Verbraecken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Capello struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Teun Verbraecken didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Trip. Teun Verbraecken made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Bruno Capello sent off a good shot on target. Oséas Brodel kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to Barra Funda F.C getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Oséas Brodel hit a great ball. The throw-in from Franklin Pirani in the 75th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Los Trip's Teodoro Munhoz. Edmílson Mineiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Agustín Rossi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmílson Mineiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Cipriano Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmílson Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustín Rossi having to interfere. When Los Trip's Luís Fernando Calderón De La Barca in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barra Funda F.C's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fernando Calderón De La Barca in the 93rd minute of play forced Barra Funda F.C's goalkeeper Teun Verbraecken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
