Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Fetiyerd's Aurelio Rivas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fetiyerd's Montes Quevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Fetiyerd from getting a goal against them. In the 6th minute, Ilkay Gündoğan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Hamburg's Alban Bolesta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Rivas in the 7th minute of play. Aurelio Rivas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alban Bolesta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Jan Apostel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Montes Quevedo. Jan Apostel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Kenneth Heise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan Apostel hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Fetiyerd's Zak Warrender got a free kick in the 34th minute. Montes Quevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Apostel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Enrique Prata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 played minutes Fetiyerd got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Carballeira.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enrique Prata made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Enrique Prata's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Montes Quevedo was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. 56 minutes into the match, FC Hamburg's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Rivas came free, but Alban Bolesta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Fetiyerd were awarded a corner. Aurelio Rivas went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Aurelio Rivas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alban Bolesta quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Fetiyerd getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Cristiano Mezquita hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the game, Jan Apostel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Montes Quevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 63rd minute, Enrique Prata ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Montes Quevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 68th minute of the match FC Hamburg got a corner. Fetiyerd's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hendrik Holletschek ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Jan Apostel came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the FC Hamburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Apostel couldn't finish the play. Fetiyerd's attentive Fernan Arraz managed to snatch the ball when Rupert Rose made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. Montes Quevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilkay Gündoğan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alban Bolesta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelio Rivas in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute Hendrik Holletschek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Montes Quevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fetiyerd's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
