After 18 played minutes FC Hamburg got a freekick which was hit by Darius Minge. Alban Bolesta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vilmar Heidemann went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Alban Bolesta was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Vilmar Heidemann capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vilmar Heidemann really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 35th minute Ilkay Gündoğan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Cordoba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vilmar Heidemann had several of the FC Hamburg's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 38 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Alban Bolesta as he didn't even see the shot coming. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enrique Prata was the one to do the kick off. Alban Bolesta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilmar Heidemann, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 55 minutes of play, Made in Paraguay's Vilmar Heidemann made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alban Bolesta was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oscar Cordoba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Apostel in the 57th minute of the match. In the 67th minute of the match, Jan Apostel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Oscar Cordoba saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 71st minute, Vilmar Heidemann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alban Bolesta was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 79th minute of the match Made in Paraguay got a corner. FC Hamburg's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Agostinho Madureira ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Made in Paraguay's corner Cuartio Penagos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alban Bolesta quite easily take care of the ball. After 80 minutes of play, Made in Paraguay's Cuartio Penagos made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alban Bolesta was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Made in Paraguay's Vilmar Heidemann in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Vilmar Heidemann struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Alban Bolesta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Made in Paraguay. If Roque Santa Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alban Bolesta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Santa Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Hamburg players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Made in Paraguay.
